I AM Nicholas Roerich.

I have come to you again on this day to talk about the issues that concerned me during my incarnation and that continue to worry me now.

You know how much I love Russia. And I cannot put up with the fact that the Divine opportunity that has been released by the Heavens for this country remains unused.

You need to understand, dear ones, that for the flow of the Divine opportunity to be locked in, the currents of your hearts must match and stay at the appropriate level.

Your hearts contain the mechanism that allows the Divine opportunity to manifest itself in the physical world.

Therefore, it is the flames of the spirit, the flames of the heart that need to be ignited by you. So many progressive people in different areas of art and science have worked in order to elevate the vibrations of people. Where are these highest creations of human consciousness now?

Why have we forgotten about the best? Why have we let into our hearts the lowest models of art, music, cinematography, and painting? How did it happen that the youth have been left without the food that is so essential for them? I mean the food that is needed for the development of their souls.

There was a lot of ignorance in Russia in the past as well. And we were aware of it. But the people who brought fourth Divine models were also honored. And there were intelligent people who were capable of comprehending the best models.

During my time, there was a task to carry the Messages of the Masters into the world so that people could gain access to them and not reject them. Now, with the help of the Internet, the information is spread instantly. But a new danger for people has emerged. It is the stream of everything that is low-grade and vulgar that has flowed over people; and the grains of knowledge that had been delivered with great efforts to your world by the best representatives of humankind have drowned in that ocean of information.

There is a Path, and not everything is lost. Everything can be changed. And I continue to carry the confidence in my heart that it is still possible to catch up and that a great future awaits Russia. I cannot put up with the problems that have emerged again in the way to the Bright day. Meanwhile, the lowest human manifestations do not face any resistance.

To wake up, to wake up those who can still be awakened, is the primary task of the day! And at the same time, it is necessary to try to follow the path that we followed. Using our connections and influence, we tried to reach the top authorities in Russia so that they could give directives from above. It was the most effective path that could have changed the future of Russia back in the 1920’s. Now I understand that the probability of the positive outcome of our mission was not greater than several percent. But the Masters took that chance.

Now everything has changed in Russia, and the probability has greatly increased that the humanitarian Teaching that has been given by the Masters of Wisdom will become widespread in Russia and later in other countries. Now just the efforts of the sincere hearts of those who have incarnated to fulfill this mission are needed. The majority of Russia’s population still has the mentality that is a hundred years old. And they believe in Father the Tzar, who will come and everyone will live happily and worry free.

Sometimes, one person can change the entire course of history. But this person needs to prepare himself for the mission. He must be able to sustain the current of the Divine opportunity and pass it through his heart at the right moment.

The books of Agni Yoga that have been given by the Masters through me and my wife have been read and reread many times. What is the result of your reading if you failed to prepare your hearts for the current of the Divine opportunity? By our daily selfless labor, we were preparing a great future for Russia. We did not sleep at night during the Great Patriotic War (World War II) and directed all our prayers and appeals for the salvation of Russia.

I would have hoped that our work would have a future and not quietly dissolve among various groups and circles.

I truly regret that the darkness has only strengthened its positions lately.

It is difficult to reconcile with the thought that the Divine opportunity that has been given to Russia again is expiring, and those warriors of spirit that could have realized this opportunity are nowhere to be found.

I truly regret that I am not currently incarnated. I could have created a circle of like-minded people around me consisting of the best representatives from the intelligent part of society. We could have organized a supervisory board that would have eliminated all of the vulgarity from television.

Are there no people left in Russia who could render selfless service to the Truth? Is the colossus with feet of clay that uses all means to survive and feast for a little longer still that strong? I am talking about the collective unconscious of the people who are oriented toward the darkness and are afraid to come out into the light, into the direct sunlight, and prefer to do their dark work behind the curtains.

I am directly addressing you who are incarnated today. Have you done everything in your lives in order to bring the best ideals of humankind closer to the physical plan for their realization?

It is necessary to educate young people from an early age. It is necessary to fill television screens and store shelves with the best models. None of the Masters can do this work for you!

Only the qualities of the heart, only the flames of the spirit are needed for you to fulfill your mission. And this work, this heroic deed of spirit, is no smaller than the heroic deeds that were carried out by the best sons and daughters of Russia in the past.
